Eric Eastham didn’t allow a single run against Battery Creek, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Bobcats to a 12-0 victory on Monday

Bobcats secured the victory thanks to eight runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Joe DiCarlo, Eastham, and Noah Simonsen, a walk by Carson Yeager, and by R White.

Bobcats scored eight runs in the fourth inning. DiCarlo, Yeager, Eastham, White, and Simonsen all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

One bright spot for Battery Creek was a single by Stephens in the first inning.

Eastham was on the mound for Bobcats. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on seven hits, striking out three and walking one.

Rojo was on the hill for Battery Creek. He allowed six hits and four runs over three innings, striking out three. Stephens threw one inning out of the bullpen.

Bobcats totaled ten hits. DiCarlo, Eastham, and Dillan Montenegro all managed multiple hits for Bobcats. DiCarlo led Bobcats with three hits in four at bats.

Battery Creek totaled seven hits in the game. Rye and Gorden all collected multiple hits for Battery Creek. Battery Creek didn’t commit a single error in the field. Rye had five chances in the field, the most on the team.
