Bobcats defeated Battery Creek 20-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Anthony Storzieri induced a fly out from Stephens to finish off the game.

Bobcats secured the victory thanks to 11 runs in the second inning. Carson Yeager, Cody Eldridge, Joe DiCarlo, Dillan Montenegro, Storzieri, and Yeager powered the big inning with RBIs.

Bobcats scored 11 runs in the second inning. Yeager, Eldridge, DiCarlo, Montenegro, Storzieri, and Yeager each had RBIs in the frame.

One bright spot for Battery Creek was a single by Burke in the first inning.

Tyler Livingston got the start for Bobcats. He allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one.

Tomita led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Battery Creek. He allowed two hits and nine runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Thompson and Gorden entered the game from the bullpen, throwing two-thirds of an inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

DiCarlo led Bobcats with two hits in four at bats.

Burke went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Battery Creek in hits.
