Bobcats defeated East Clarendon 9-1 on Friday thanks to a timely five runs in a big fourth inning. Carson Yeager, Cameron Poliquin, and Jayden Timmins each had RBIs in the big inning.
Bobcats pulled away for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Yeager singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Poliquin grounded out, scoring one run, and Timmins doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.
Grant Musselman was the winning pitcher for Bobcats. Musselman allowed five hits and one run over five innings, striking out two. Timmins and Nate Hoyt entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Timmins recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Bobcats.
