Bobcats watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-4 loss to Hilton Head on Friday. Hilton Head scored on a single by Mebane in the first inning, a single by Pollitze in the first inning, a error in the first inning, and a single by Gross in the first inning.
The Bobcats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Hilton Head, giving up 11 runs.
Hilton Head got things started in the first inning. Mebane singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
